Companies can unlock tremendous value through better collaboration with their value chain or eco-system.

A lot of that value potential remains untapped, because value chain collaboration is limited by several barriers.

Today's collaboration processes and technologies do not address these collaboration barriers effectively; they are not designed to enable collaboration with various actors in a value chain.

The need for collaboration in value chains and eco-systems will only increase, as our economy and society is undergoing a profound and fast transformation to a more sustainable & economically viable system, for the well being of 7 billion people rather than for 2 billion privileged people.

Companies, organizations and governments only control a small part of the entire value chain or eco-system, and therefore need to collaborate more intensively to succeed in this challenge. Companies and eco-systems will not succeed in this transformation to a new economy if they act a set-up of isolated fortresses of information. Surviving the transformation to a new economy will require to be prepared for strong collaboration.
